Replay Night

The Trolley Car stopped outside the tall building, As Justin stepped off he put a coin in the slot and it went whizzing off back to the station, he walked up to the entrance and unlocked the door, Most of the workers had gone home for the night so there most of the place was in pitch blackness, he pulled out his invite and looked at the instructions on the back "Follow the Smissmas Decorations?" he looked down the gloomy corridor and saw  tree with wrapped ammunition boxes under it, he went over to it and looked around for the next one. Above him on a walkway a Metal sledge led by reindeer wearing spiky harnesses hung as a display, he followed the direction the sledge was facing and came across a metal door with a slot  figuring he was there he knocked ,A woman opened the door and he was ushered in.

The room was awash with lighting and his eyes; along with a small metal stove and a wall covered with screens there was a large wooden table with different foods arranged and a   He Looked around the room and there were a few familiar faces this time, Darka was playing with a deck of cards when Justin sat down he scribbled something and he passed it to Justin "Shingari couldn't come tonight, he's visiting someone" Justin poured himself a drink and passed the sheet of paper back when the other came to sit down. Myth had arranged for a chair for himself as the human chairs that were normally here weren't comfortable for him "Hey Myth, who's the new Woman here?" Myth called her over "This is The Witness or so she likes to be called, she's from one of the Literature worlds but comes here  when she wants a break" Justin stood up and shook hands with her "Nice to meet you Miss Witness, what do you do here" She ignored his error and returned the shake "Well usually I just stay in an apartment and recover from being constantly hunted down by Gangs but sometimes I work as a Doctors Assistant in the Med Bay, Did you bring a film with you today?" Justin pulled out his reel and put it on the table with the others and noticed a can with someone's name on it "Lily was here today?" The Witness picked up the can and fed the film into the Feedback monitor "Well she couldn't make it today but she sent us this footage he shot of a park she and her brother went to" The Nearest empty screen lit up with a scene of a tree alone in a field for a few seconds then it cut to a Student Cafe next to a lake with a few people talking, he was enjoying the film right up until the canister noisily clattered as the last frames came off the roll.

The Evening went on in a cheery manner as various other films that people had brought were shown, The Witness had brought footage of one of Dr Mario's Early Surgeries when he treated a man for stomach and arm pains with three plums after his wife dreamt she was playing a Fruit machine, Darka's one was a bit Odd for he had to write it down in key phrases on his paper but from what he understood he had been in the Imperial Province tasked with solving a goblin problem, Darka fed the film into the screen and it showed him sneaking into the middle of a Goblin encampment in the middle of the night, he waltzed over to an alter and took a statue, replacing it with another, the film cut to him doing the same thing in four other camps, The Witness in particular was paying attention to this film being careful to take notes on a Jotter, to Justin it was obvious that she had a very similar mind frame to Darka  as she had tried to maintain her composure but  gave into laughter when she saw him setting up elaborate traps at one alter, After the film had shown him infiltrating all the camps and swapping all their statues with ones from other Goblin Clans he had just waited on top of a hill with a good telescope and watched the ensuing wars  from a safe distance.

It was getting late now so they only had time left for one more  Replay "Anybody want to see what happened when I ran a City?" said Justin "Hmm.. That can wait until the next one, when we have a Disaster Movie marathon", The Witness sifted through the pile until one particular one caught her eyes "Myth? I didn't know you ran a shop" She held up a reel with CCTV footage of a convenience store "Ah its just a little something downtown to make some extra money" Strangely she hadn't seen any shops downtown as it was supposed to be all warehouses but she put the Tape in the feed and sat down to watch.
Myth was behind the counter polishing the surface when a tall figure came inside, Myth didn't even look at him as the stranger looked around nervously before walking over "It's all right Herschel I know it's you" The Professor removed his coat and walked over to the counter "It was hard getting here, Luke is getting suspicious..do you have it?"Myth silently reached under the counter and pulled out an unassuming book with a jigsaw piece picture on the front the mere sight of it seemed to make him eager to get have it "Alright professor that will be 25 gold for the cheat guide" Herschel looked at him muttering something under his breath but begrudgingly handed over the money and bolted out the door reading  it as he went. Myth just put the money in the cash register and patted the other bundles of books "He'll come back for Volume 3...and it will only cost him 30 gold, heh heh..."

After the film was finished Justin helped the others load al the films they had watched into a basket for the librarians to put away, he waved goodbye to the secret club members and strolled off into the night humming to himself already thinking about what he'd bring them next week.
